Tater Grailos: The Human Sorcerer that doesn’t believe in Magic

Disclaimer: I have played this one in a one shot. Ask me how it went!
Tater Grailos is the answer to “What is the high fantasy equivalent of a flat earther?” But like, polite about it.
He doesn’t believe in magic. Even when he is obviously doing magic. Firebolt? Nah, that stone I threw sparked off the goblin’s armor and ignited marsh gas. Mage armor? Please, my dude, I’m just really sweaty and my tunic is kind of stiff.
Always an answer, always dumb. Always upbeat and wholesome.

Ser Gilbert Gornsatch III: Skeleton Paladin hiding in Armor

Ser Gilbert was a mediocre to poor Knight with middling martial skills. But he was endlessly¹ enthusiastic.
When he was killed by a necromancer he was woefully unprepared to combat, the necromancer raised him from the dead and assigned him to opening and closing the privy door. Over the years, the compulsion faded and when the Necromancer was killed by competent adventurers, See Gilbert took the opportunity to skedaddle…
And seek…. ADVENTURE!
Gilbert’s a bit unhinged, and gets weird about doors, but is otherwise determined to become a legend, boney countenance non-withstanding.
¹ annoyingly

Malbus was naturally awakened by proximity to a magic pool, and has always wondered where his family is from, as he is the only tree of his kind on the area.
He learned to walk, and as such has never grown any bigger. He gets quite upset about that, if it’s pointed out, and is prone to flying into a rage.
Malbus is always looking for his family, but it seems sometimes the berserker apple does fall pretty far from the tree…
(He doesn’t know this, but his daddy is totes a fantasy Johnny Appleseed.)

A little girl finds an ancient relic in the woods and wishes for her best friend, her cat Mister Bitey, to be able to talk and live forever…
That was 300 years ago. Mister Bitey misses her human, and she always goes out of her way to help and delight children, in her honor. But she hates everyone else.
Mister Bitey likes to go on adventures, but she insists on being carried. She lives up to her name, and enjoys biting people as part of her touch magic spells.
